Selling your Car?

Read through our quick sellers guide

1 Pricing your car,

Be realistic when deciding how much you want from your car. Have a look at similar cars to yours and see what they are selling at. Selling at a realistic price means a quicker sale.

2 Preparing your car for sale

This should not be underestimated when selling a car, the work is not done as soon as you get your first enquiry.

Make sure you get your paperwork ready, MOT, logbook, service history and other documentation.

You might consider getting the car serviced and get it MOT'ed as well as these are good selling points.

3 Paperwork

After you and the buyer have agreed a price, its time to fill in the paperwork. Give the MOT and other certificates with the car.

The V5 logbook is important to fill out correctly and both sign. Once given the new owner the new keepers part send the rest off to the DVLA who will update there records.
